1. Contestant’s own original composition for piano solo
2. A New Decaband composition, with the contestant playing piano solo. Contestants shall receive the score at rehearsal with the band.
3. A jazz standard for piano and rhythm section of the contestant’s choosing.
4. Free improvisation for piano solo.
